They help keep it standing, without them, the rolercoaster would fall after one ride, if not, instantly. | ## NEW TEXAS GIANT this coaster has a high start at the beginning,there are X's and square trusses to hold up the coaster. stands 150 ft tall, has a 79 degree fall streching 147 ft. the track of the ride is 4506 ft of rails. goes 65 miles per hour, and takes up an area of 2 1/2 parking lots. |

all of the rollercoasters have potental and kinetic energy.the potential is at the very top before the rollercoaster goes down hill and the kineticenergy happens when going through loops and or down hill. the design of the rides makes sure no one falls and makes it fun
