Monday Motivational Moment with Mo!
Roos around Campus!
We love to see the great things our students are doing on campus through the week. Our students are involved in multiple activities through the week and we love to showcase them. We loved seeing our students out in the community, supporting the re-opening of Harker Heights' Chick-Fil-A! Our HOSA team was awarded a grant for meeting the blood drive goal! KHS showed up in Maroon to support students in Uvalde going back to school after last years tragedy. We are so thankful for the support of our Adopt-A-School Unit, 15th Brigade Support Battalion who supported us during our game against Stony Point. This week was also Sub Appreciation week, and we got to shower our Subs with love.

Meet Blake Taft!
David Blake Taft, I was born at Fort Belvoir VA. My dad was Army and my mom works for tricare. I graduated from Hayfield Secondary School, then went to a community college in Maryland. I had twin daughters in college, then a few years later I joined the Army and that is what brought me to central Texas. I deployed three times, one to Iraq and two times to Afghanistan, I was also an infantryman. Medically retired in 2016, had neck surgery in 2017 and once that healed, I decided to attend UMHB and get my degree in history. In total I have four kids, my oldest lives with his mom and he is 19, twin daughter’s that are 17, and my youngest son and he is 14.

Positive Referrals
At Killeen High School, we have a set of values that represent our campus. These values are School Pride, Relationships, Collaboration, Success, and Integrity. When we see our students embodying our values and completing positive, thoughtful acts around campus we like to celebrate them with our "Positive Referrals". In this section, you will see the students who earned Positive Referrals each week! Roo Pride is Justified!
