Broncos in the Know
LHS Parent Newsletter: Friday, October 28, 2022
Reminders and Updates from Dr. Bonneau
End of the six weeks: Friday, October 28th is the end of the six weeks grading period. Please be sure to check your student's grades. Report cards post November 3rd.
Signing students out: Parents, please make sure to build in time for your student to be signed out when you are picking them up for an appointment. We have to send a pass to the classroom to get students sent to the front desk and that can take several minutes.
Chromebooks: If your student’s MISD assigned Chromebook is broken or not functioning, please have them take the Chromebook with the case on it along with the charger to the Tech office in the library for repair or replacement.
Exterior doors locked: In an effort to continue increasing student and staff safety, MISD will no longer allow campus doors to be electronically unlocked at pre-programmed times for any reason during the school day. In the past, certain high-traffic entrance doors were electronically unlocked for short periods of time for student entry. Beginning November 1, all campus exterior doors will remain locked during the school day, and there will be no timed periods where they are unlocked. Staff members will still be assigned to monitor the dedicated entry points so students can enter the building and others can be monitored prior to entry.
Let's CELEBRATE! If you have had an experience with someone at Legacy and want to give them a "shout out", please send me their name and a brief explanation. We would love to make someone's day! My email address is firstname.lastname@example.org.
As usual, please reach out if you have any questions!
