Better Business CasesTM has been developed by HM Treasury and the Welsh government. It is a systematic and objective approach to all stages of the business case development process. It sits alongside, and complements, HM Treasury’s Green Book guidance and is based on the ‘Five Case Model’ - the UK government’s best practice approach to planning spending proposals and enabling effective business decisions.
The UK Government method of approach to preparing a Business Case is internationally accepted as ‘Best Practice’ and is gaining momentum within government and the private sector.
