Principal’s Message
We hope to see you next week at Parent Teacher Conferences. Conferences are on Tuesday, November 24 from 3:15 - 8:00 p.m. and Wednesday, November 25 from 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. There will be no instruction for students in the afternoon on Tuesday, November 24. There will be instruction for students in the morning. Anything that normally takes place in the morning will take place. AM students will have synchronous instruction as they normally do. PM students will have asynchronous instruction and specials as they normally do.
There is NO SCHOOL for students Wednesday, November 25 through Friday, November 27. We wish you a very happy Thanksgiving and look forward to seeing students again on Monday, November 30!

Thank you for supporting your student/s in remote/hybrid learning! The Specials Team (Art, Band, Orchestra, Library, Music and P.E.) truly acknowledges all of your hard work and student learning growth in Trimester 1.
As educators, we understand that this is a very challenging time for you as parents and guardians. As members of the community and as members of our own families, we empathize with the uncertainty that we all currently face. You are doing a wonderful job with all the daily changes. All of us appreciate your flexibility and dedication to your children’s schoolwork.
Our team looks forward to seeing and teaching every student on Zoom for Trimester 2! Please email us if you have any questions or comments.

The Virtual Book Fair is Here!
Support our School! Order Books at our Anderson’s Virtual Book Fair November 18th - December 6th.
It’s easy, here’s how:
Go to www.abcfairs.com
Click on the categories that you are interested in. (Can’t find a book, use the search bar.)
Click (Add to Cart) for each book you would like to purchase. Teacher wish list books can be found by clicking the wish list icon at the top of the page.
Fill in the required fields on the Checkout page, including your school name and city. Please include your student and teacher’s names.
Books will be packaged and ready for pick up outside of school on December 11th between 8:30-9:30 a.m. and 12:00 -1:00 p.m.

Food Distribution Hours Next Week
Brown Bag Donations Needed
The Moraine Township Food Pantry is in need of paper grocery bags WITH HANDLES. They can be dropped off at any time on the front steps (there's a blue bin) of the Supervisor's Office: 800 Central Avenue, Highland Park, 60035.
Please DO NOT leave food items for donation at this time. If you'd like to help the Pantry meet the increased need in our community, consider a cash donation so that we may continue to purchase specific, essential items for our families.
