End of Year Lunch Account Information
Lunch Account Reminder
Dear Parents,
As the school year winds down, we would like parents to check the balance(s) on their student(s)
lunch accounts. If an account is negative, please make a payment. We ask that no account is left
negative over the summer.
If you have a graduating Senior, you can request a refund or balance transfer the Monday after
graduation. Please cancel the auto deposit function on your Seniors lunch account to prevent a
payment from posting after it is cleared. There is a separate notification in your High School
newsletter for Seniors.
If you have not received an email from us this school year, please make sure the school has the most
current email address on file.
MAKING DEPOSITS
SETTING UP AN ONLINE ACCOUNT will allow you to make deposits, view the account,
set reminders and add an auto-deposit option if preferred.
*EPS now partners with SchoolPay for student lunch accounts. To add funds, go to
www.schoolpay.com and log into to your user account. If you do not yet have a

Womenade Clothing Drive Update
Womenade
Clothing Drive
Please drop off your donations at any Elkhorn Public School during the week of
May 2nd through May 6th.
This is a great opportunity to go through your closet, to move on your gently used garments, and to help families in our Elkhorn community.
We are working on a Sign Genius for anyone interested in helping to set up the clothing closet and will publish those in the next newsletter.

2022-2023 Online Registration Reminder
For the upcoming school year, EPS will again utilize an online registration system that will allow parents of K-12 students to log in and update information and complete all Back-to-School documents. As a reminder, to use this feature, parents/guardians will need to have a parent access account in PowerSchool.
If you do not already have a parent access account, please follow this link for directions on how to create an account. However, this is a preparation step, and you will not be able to complete the online registration process until July. An email will be sent to the primary PowerSchool account email address when online registration is available.
If you have an account created but need to add additional students, please follow this link for directions on doing so: https://bit.ly/2wDNJuT.
If you have any questions or need assistance setting up your account, please contact your building secretary.

From our School Nurse
Note from the Nurse…
If you received a health screen referral letter within the last few months, please visit the appropriate medical professional and have them complete the bottom portion of the letter and return it to school with your student.
Please remember to send a couple of clean face masks to school with your student(s) each day; one to wear and one in case the other mask gets dirty or breaks during the day.
Please notify the office if your student has been exposed to someone with COVID-19.
Follow district guidelines if your student has had an exposure or is symptomatic. We want to continue to do our best to keep our students and staff as safe and healthy as possible.
Here is the Response to COVID-19 Guidance_January 2022 from the Elkhorn Public Schools website.
It’s not too early to start scheduling your school and sports physicals!
Students who will be entering Kindergarten in the fall or who are new students from out of state will need to submit a physical exam and vision exam (including a test for strabismus, amblyopia, and acuity) dated after February 17th, 2022, as well as a current immunization record including the Kindergarten booster shots. Here is the Summary of the School Immunization Rules and Regulations
Students entering the 7th grade in the fall will need to submit a physical exam dated after February 17th, 2022, and an updated immunization record including a Tdap booster.
Students wanting to participate in a sport at the middle school or high school must have a sports physical completed sometime after May 1st, 2022, and uploaded to rschool. (**7th graders still need to submit a physical exam to the front office as well, as these are different systems).
Thank you!
