Here are a few ideas of how to say thank you by email or using Seesaw.

Parent input regarding their child's learning strengths and weaknesses are a crucial part of the data that we review to finalize classes. If you would like to provide information about your child's learning style, please complete the Student Placement Profile form on or before May 15, 2020. Forms will not be accepted after May 15th, as campus administrators use this to finalize class lists over the summer. Please note that specific teacher requests will not be accepted.
Yearbooks have arrived!

Thank you so much for Sarah Hyde and Ashley Melber for creating our yearbook this year. It's a huge job and we are so fortunate to have them take this on!
Student Material Pick Up Coming Soon
Parents will have several opportunities the week of May 11th-15th to pick up your child's materials. Pick up will be in the car rider line off Travis Drive on May 12th, 13th and 14th from 9 am - 11 am and 4 pm-6:00 pm on all 3 days. Parents are asked to pull through the car rider line and give the name of your child to the staff member who will then place your child's bag in the car. For the health and safety of our staff and parents, parents will need to remain in their car and will not be allowed in the building to collect their child's materials. Staff will be wearing gloves and masks during the pick up times. Due to limited storage space and deep cleaning that will occur during the summer months, any materials not picked up on May 14th at 6:00 pm will be recycled.
If your child has a library book that needs to be returned, please bring it during one of the pick up days and we will return it to the library.
From The Nurse...
With our school year ending in this unexpected way, our nurses weren't able to get medications home in the usual route.
Your campus nurses have packed up all remaining medications left at school and want to help you pick them up as easily as possible. We are even having an evening time to help parents' schedules. All of the district's meds will be there, no need to go to multiple campuses for different students.
Not sure if you have any meds to pick up? Emails have gone out to parents with medications still at school so check your emails. No email? No meds to pick up...
We will be using a car pick-up line at the Intermediate Campus. As you pull up, tell us your child's name and their campus. Your nurse will bring you the meds in their package, you will sign for them and you're done! Please, only parents/guardians to pick up the medications. Sorry, no siblings or neighbors. If these dates don't work for you please contact your campus nurse.
Monday May 11th 5-7 pm - evening
Wednesday May13th 9-11 am - morning
Friday May 15th 9-11 am - morning

ASCENDER has taken over with a few changes.
- The app for your cell phone no longer works. The company is working on creating another one.
- Until the app is created, you must go through the district website. www.lagovistaisd.net
- On the Main Page, go to Parent Connection, halfway down the page on the left.
- On new page, scroll down about halfway, look for Keeping Track of Grades. You will then click on the ASCENDER link.
- Log in like you normally did with TxConnect.
- If you have any questions or trouble, please call 512-267-8300 #2503.
