Behavioral Health Works Offers Teen Mental Health Check-Up

The Cherry Hill High Schools are committed to working with you not only to educate your children, but also to ensure that they reach their full potential outside of the classroom. To that end, we are offering parents of grades 9 through 12 at High Schools East and West the opportunity to have their teens participate in a wellness check-up called Behavioral Health (BH) Works.

BH-Works was developed by the Center for Family Intervention Science at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia to address the need for comprehensive behavioral health screening. The program is free and completely voluntary and confidential.

Parents received an email the week of April 12, 2021 regarding this program. The contents of the email also are available online. Parents may sign up for the program through the Genesis portal.

More information about BH-Works is available at www.bh-works.com.

NJDOE Seeks Input on Challenges of Educating in 2021

The New Jersey Department of Education (NJDOE), in a joint venture with GovLab at New York University, is seeking input from New Jersey educators, students and caregivers to share their views on the biggest challenges of educating in 2021. This New Jersey specific questionnaire is one of a series of national, online engagements, focusing on the problems, solutions and challenges facing our education system.

From April 5 – April 30, 2021, the NJDOE encourages all educators, as well as caregivers and students, to take the appropriate survey on the YourEducationYourVoice platform. If possible, the department asks that you please use Google Chrome browser or Mozilla Firefox.

Also through the summer of 2021: Any family currently receiving free wifi from the District will automatically keep it through the summer, unless their youngest/only child is a high school senior (Class of 2021).

Meal Distribution Continues

Our distribution of FREE meals to ALL CHERRY HILL STUDENTS (public, private and home-schooled) continues during Spring Break. Come pick up 7 breakfasts, 7 lunches and 5 days' worth of snacks (dry & nut-free and refrigerated items) every Monday at High Schools East or West from noon-2 pm or 4-6 pm.

Mask Up to Pick Up!
