WEEK OF NOVEMBER 27, 2023
Message from the Principal
GLOW Students & Families,
We hope you and your family enjoyed this time together over the long, Thanksgiving weekend. It's hard to believe there are just three weeks left until Winter Break and less than two weeks until High School Exams begin!
Let's finish out the semester strong as we head into finals for our High School Students and the end of our 2nd Quarter/1st Semester for our Middle School Students. Parents, please be sure your student is at school and on time, ready to learn.
Speaking of high school - our annual High School Preview Night will be held this Wednesday, November 29th, from 6 to 7:30 pm. This event provides a chance to meet our high school teachers, learn about courses offered and our signature College Bound program, how we support the 13th year, and what makes GLOW High School different from other area schools. We also look forward to having our 6th and 7th grade families join us to visit classrooms and see the learning your student has been doing this semester. Dinner will be served. We hope to see you there.

7th & 8th Graders: GRIT - Girls Re-Imagining Tomorrow
7th & 8th grade: are you curious about how technology will integrate into our future? GLOW is recruiting 7th and 8th grade students to join GRIT: Girls Re-Imagining Tomorrow.
GRIT is a field-trip/mentorship-based program that will expose students to the ways that the technology sector (including Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, etc.) is influencing nearly every industry. GRIT mentors (from Cisco and E+) will teach you professional etiquette, skills like public speaking, and how to maintain online safety. GRIT mentors want to help GLOW students develop self-assurance and tenacity.
7th & 8th Graders who wish to participate must complete the application found at: https://bit.ly/GLOWGRIT2023 or by using the QR code at the right.
