Message from your principal...
Dear Maine Lion Families~
Our School Forest is now OPEN! We are so grateful to our Maine Lions PTO for collaborating with so many community partners with this project! It was really wonderful to see so many of you turn out for this event! It was a beautiful night for a stroll in the woods! We can't wait for their Trunk or Treat event that will include a walk through the forest! Please know that you are welcome to use the forest during the evenings and weekends!
BRRR and the WIND! I know I talked about this in the last newsletter, but I need you to know that there are LOTS of students that are not bringing warm enough clothes to school or are choosing to not wear the clothes that you are sending. We would appreciate a conversation to help our students understand the importance of staying warm outside so that they can enjoy their recess more. Thank you!
Student Success Conferences are coming soon! We are so excited to meet with you to share all the wonderful things that your child is learning! Just a reminder that our conference dates are:
- Thursday, October 20th from 3:45-7:45 pm
- Wednesday, October 26th from 12:00-7:30 pm
Thank you for all you do to help set your child up for success! We appreciate you!
Your partner in education,
Ms. Simonson
