Stress Less and Mindfulness workshops with Rachel Teare, College Counsellor – book here.
Year 2 Health & Social Care students have been researching stress, anxiety and risk-taking behaviour in young people and would like to come and talk to your tutor groups about how to deal with everything that is going on in their lives. They want to share experiences, offer advice and educate the rest of our student population in the dangers of mental ill health. All of our students are now qualified Youth Mental Health First Aiders and have trained in Mindfulness - they are a credit to the college and we should encourage them to share their knowledge and expertise with the rest of their peers. If it supports just one person – it will be worth it! Book here
And finally, the highly anticipated return of the Funny Joke and Happy Song of the Day. If there is a song that makes you happy or a silly joke that brightens up your day, please send your suggestions to katy.nesbitt@banbury-bicester.ac.uk The best songs and jokes will be shared during the week.
