Good evening Spartan Families,

I wanted to thank you for such an incredible turn out of support for your student during our Student Led Conferences! It was such a wonderful two nights with families in the building and I enjoyed meeting and talking with so many of you--I only wish I could have spoken with and met each of you :) For being the largest middle school in the corporation, I continue to be amazed at how close our school community is and that is because of you all and our staff! Thank you for everything you do to support SMS.

As fast and full as the beginning of the school year is, I shouldn't be surprised that we are already through Marking Period 1! Please make sure you are logging in and looking at your student's report card on Skyward. As we move into Marking Period 2 I'm excited for all of the opportunities our teachers have planned for students to engage in and challenge themselves with in regard to content standards and curriculum!

Please remember that we do not have school on November 8, 2022, due to many schools serving as polling sites.

Don't forget: SCHOOL WIDE PINK OUT TOMORROW 10/31!

If you ever have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out!

With Spartan Pride,

Mrs. Martin

It is that time of year again where we continue our annual tradition of SOCKTOBER! Socks are one of the least donated items, but are essential as we head towards the Winter months. All Donations must be new and not used and can be dropped off in the bins next to the commons or the IMC. Please consider donating to our Socktober Drive from Monday, October 17th- Monday, October 31st. Thank You for your support.
