Science with Ms. Hoyle
In science students will be exploring how different forces such as friction and gravity can have an effect on an object. They will be completing a paper air plane lab, to design an airplane that is able to best resist these forces. After we complete the lab students will prepare for their Chapter 2 test.
Math with Mrs. Bange
Tuesday and Wednesday- Students will take the Math Interim test to prepare for the math state assessment.
Thursday and Friday- Students will explore finding circumference and learning about circles.
Language Arts with Ms. Griem
Language Arts will be reading Huckleberry Finn this week. Remember that the end of the term is 3 weeks away. Any 50% grades can be redone/corrected/or turned in until Friday, March 6th. Test need to be corrected or retaken with me. Please encourage students to turn in missing work ASAP. Also, remember that Miss Griem has to grade current work before grading missing work, so please remind students to be patient when turning in late work/corrected work. If you have any questions please email/call.
World Geography with Mr. Akagi
Next week in World Geography, we’re starting a new unit: Southeast Asia (we were supposed to start last week) but the snow day held us back. We’re starting out looking at how and why Indonesia wants to move its capital city of Indonesia. Then, we’ll be looking at the dark history of genocide in Southeast Asia, and what is happening in Myanmar right now.
