Fleming Flyer 8/27/21
Wednesday September 8th-PTO Meeting at 5:30
Monday September 20th-School Photo Day (Forms will go home Next Week)
Friday October 8th-No School (Parent Teacher Conferences)
Monday October 11th-No School (Indigenous People Day)
What a great start to the year! Despite the heat the last two days, things went really well and the first three days have been a huge success! Students spent a lot of time building community in their classrooms and getting to know one another. It was so fun to see everyone back in the building, these walls really come alive when all students are back!
Please look through the updates and information below and have a great weekend!
Drop-Off and Pick-up
Please do not drop-off or pick-up students on Summit or Prospect Streets. This creates a safety concern with traffic and at times prevents busses from being able to pull out of our parking lot. All drop-offs and pick-ups should take place on school grounds at the appropriate times. Drop-off is 7:45 - 8:00, pick-up is 2:55 - 3:10. Thank you for your attention to the procedures.
Hello from the Office
- If your student is going to be picked up early, be late, or absent for the day, please let me know in the office. By calling 802-878-1381, emailing me directly at firstname.lastname@example.org, or submitting the online attendance form.
- If you are picking up your student early, it is really helpful to know that you are picking up your student. Sometimes it takes a while to track them down, as they could be out in the field for gym, having services, etc. If we know a head of time, we will do our very best to have them ready for you to sign out and pick them up.
Thank you so much for your help!
Teachers on Team Synergy! Mr. Kenny, Ms. Guntulis, Ms. Lemnah, and Ms Osborne
Visitors in School
Ms. Aldrich from the office, will come to the front door with a clipboard for you to sign your child out, and either our nurse, or Ms. A will also come to the front door when students arrive late, to take their temperature checks and send them to their homerooms.
If you need to see the nurse for any reason, such as dropping off medication, please call the Health Office at 857-7789, she will arrange a time to meet you outside, in front of the building.
Thank you for your patience as we navigate the new norm for this school year. We can't wait for the time that it's ok for parents to come back in and volunteer at school, and connect in person!
Fleming Gear is here!
Please let us know if you can't not open the link. All Fleming Gear will be brought to Fleming and handed out at school so you do not need to pick up at Kevin Smith's.
