Moving Forward With COVID Protocols
- Use CrisisGo EVERY MORNING to provide an update on the status of your child. IF you are not getting the email, then use the Visitor Link.
- Send your student with a full water bottle and a face covering.
- Remind your student to wash and sanitize his hands throughout the day.
When your child has been exposed to a person, while being indoors and unmasked, who tests COVID positive and/or your child shows sick symptoms, then you must:
- stay home from school and call the office
- your child will need a COVID negative test OR need to stay home for ten days and show no symptoms before returning to school
- Call the office and we will walk you through next steps
IF there is a COVID positive test in the classroom, then students will be called by me and the UELF Staff. Presently our students have only been exposed through community events or have stayed home because they are showing symptoms. Students who have had symptoms and been tested have thus far been COVID negative.
Our community has been open, transparent, and conscientious about actions so that student and staff health is the focus. All of us are eager and happy to have our schools open and are demonstrating that we will do whatever it takes to make this a smooth and healthy process. #UELFSpirit
