This week we have several updates about end of year events for seniors, 8th grade promotion, and kindergarten and 6th grade ceremonies. Read on for more information.

ACCE principal Mr. Talley would like to inform families that in-person tutoring at ACCE West has been cancelled for the remainder of the year starting on Wednesday 5/24. This is for the math and ELA tutoring and also extends to all the students who are coming in for the whole day.

Please contact your child's teacher for more information or if you need assistance.

Students in 5th, 7th, 9th, and 11th grades need to complete the Healthy Kids survey by next Friday, June 2nd. Contact your teacher for the link to the survey.

Seniors and any students leaving the district will lose access to MUSD accounts after they exit. It can happen quickly, sometimes the next day.

If there is anything in your Gmail, Google Drive or OneDrive that you want to keep, it needs to be downloaded or copied to a personal device. Once the MUSD account is deleted, it can't be recovered.

YVHS seniors - fill out the form below to order graduation tickets. You may need to sign into your Gmail account again to access the form.

YVHS Senior Sunset will take place next Friday, June 2, 2023 at 6pm on the Trojan Field. Snacks will be provided. Bring a chair or blanket to enjoy the beautiful sunset with your fellow Seniors!

CTE stoles will be handed out on Friday, June 2nd at 7am at YVHS. It would benefit all seniors to attend this as well. ASB will be the final check-off and students will receive important graduation information.

Yearbook distribution begins on Friday 5/26 for YVHS seniors. Seniors can purchase yearbooks for $90 online at Jostens.com. Copies will also be available on the YVHS campus during the senior breakfast, but only until they are sold out. Supplies are limited, so seniors have first priority. Ordering online before distribution begins will secure a yearbook before the campus sale opens.

High school seniors, make sure to get a copy of your timeline and always check for updated versions. Some deadlines are quickly approaching!

Student timelines for both schools are available from your teacher or in the front office at ACCE, YVHS or TPHS.

• Students must have their student ID and a signed permission slip to purchase tickets for upcoming events.

• Permission slips and forms for upcoming events are also available at the YVHS and TPHS campuses.

• YVHS seniors must participate in both grad practices to get graduation tickets. After the second practice, the participating students will receive their tickets.

• TPHS seniors should have attended the mandatory senior meeting to get their grad tickets.

Contact your child's school of record as soon as possible and let them know you would like your 8th grader to participate if they have met eligibility requirements.

TPJHS

The 8th grade promotion ceremony for TPJHS students who meet eligibility requirements will take place at 7:30am on June 8th, in the gym.

LCMS

The 8th grade promotion ceremony for LCMS students who meet eligibility requirements will take place at 8am on June 8th, outside on the quad.

There is limited seating but no tickets are required. Families can bring your own lawn chairs.

If you have a child in Kindergarten or 6th grade at ACCE, please look for your child's school of record below for dates and times at your school site.

If you would like your child to participate in an end of year ceremony or promotion at their school of record, you will need to contact the school as soon as possible.

If you have additional questions about a ceremony, you will need to contact the school of record.

Both send off ceremonies will be held in the staff parking lot and seats are first come, first serve. There is plenty of standing room.
