Junior High Detroit Trip

The JH students are getting excited for their end of the year trip to Detroit. Final payments were due March 25th. If you have not made your final payment, please contact Mrs. Hall in the JH office immediately.

Congratulations Golden Gears Robotics Team!

The Golden Gears competed at Northwest High School and qualified for the state competition. We are happy to share they were picked to join one of the top eight teams for the finals and won the competition! In addition, they received the award for Best Rookie Team. They competed at the state competition in Saginaw on April 10-13. The team will be recruiting new members for the Fall. There are many scholarship opportunities available to students who participate. Please join me in congratulating them!

Hope Run Information

Please help to support our Annual Hope Run

Our community is invited to join us for the Hope Run on May 10, 2019. Our Leadership Class is asking you to help honor survivors as well as those who have lost their battle to cancer through the purchase of a luminary, a relay star or dedicating a photo to them in our slide show. In addition, students may register for the hair donation or to purchase a Hope Run t-shirt. These forms are due to each school office by Monday, April 22.


This is the final week to purchase prom tickets. They are on sale before and after school for $55. Prom is on April 27 at the Tobias Center, Adrian College, from 8-11 PM.

Saturday School will be offered on the following dates for the remainder of the school year:

  • May 4
  • May 18
  • June 8

All sessions will be held from 8 AM-12 PM in the CCHS Library. These sessions provide students an opportunity to make up school work from any type of absence in a quiet work environment. There will be a staff member available to assist students.

Any SENIOR who is assigned a Saturday School session for attendance reasons will be REQUIRED to complete it PRIOR to graduation.

Meet Mr. Snow!

Mr. Snow comes to us as a graduate from the University of Michigan. Mr. Snow is also a high school graduate of Columbia Central. He was on the cheer team in college and continues to be athletic with a hobby of weight lifting. Mr. Snow teaches our Biology and Anatomy courses. He also helps coach the high school track team. In his free time, Mr. Snow enjoys watching Michigan sports and fishing. Please join me in welcoming Mr. Snow to the Columbia Central family.
