Lets start out from where it all started, Lincoln's birth. He was born in February 12, 1809 He was born at Hodgenville, Kentucky, United States.
Childhood
During Abe's childhood he had gotten very little education. His mother died at 9. And his family had moved very often. Most people think that this was the cause of his depression.
Adulthood
During his adulthood he had studied law and fought depression. This is where he dealt with it the most.
Professional Career
Became a lawyer, Then became president.
Achievements
Lincolns achievements where president of the United States of America. Defeating the Confederacy. And last but not least, ending slavery.

Abraham as 16th President of United States.
Lincoln Ending Slavery.
Overcoming Depression
Lincoln was able to overcome depresssion by reading. He loved to read, it was his escape from the world. It also helped when he was president by believing in a higher power as to not be overcome with all the responsibility and hardships of being president.
Death
Sadly all good things come to an end. Lincoln died on April 14th, 1865. By gunshot wound to the head. Inflicted by John Wilkes Booth. While attending a play.
