Don't Forget the Book Fair!

Don't Forget!

Tonight is Family Night at the Book Fair if you would like to come with your child, the fair will be open until 7:00.

If you can not make it tonight, tomorrow is the last day to send money with your child! :)

Multiplication, Subtraction and Addition

Continue to practice those facts!!

We are hearing lots of multiplication chants and songs that children are creating! It's catchy!

Continue to work on subtraction and addition as well!

Habitats Project

We are talking about ways we can support the habitat around our school! Lots of great ideas are being generated and kids are beginning to"get it"

We are seeing models forming for the project. We have talked about what a scientific model is.

This project is authentic to kids since it involves their schoolyard! They are taking ownership of the habitats around them by planning how to support the habitat!

Reading

While we do not assign homework for the sake of assigning homework, we do want to encourage your child to read at home. We also want to hear about what your child is reading. Some of your children are telling us what they are reading.

WE WOULD LOVE TO SEE PICTURES OF YOUR CHILD READING! ...AT HOME, IN THE CAR, AT THE STORE, WHEREVER! :)

Red Ribbon Week
