Clarification on Volleyball Dual Participation
Information was shared in the LEAD network meeting today regarding a student making a choice to play high school or club volleyball by start of the high school season. The information below clearly defines the participation rules for volleyball. Please contact the League Office with any questions you may have.
The High School Interscholastic Volleyball Season will begin on Monday, Sept 28. Many fall club volleyball leagues have games and/or tournaments scheduled through Sunday, October 11th. Bylaw 208.00, Non-School Competition and Training does not allow a student who is a member of a high school team to participate on a non-school team in the same sport during the high school season. Participation is defined as practice, training, scrimmaging, tryouts and competing. Bylaw 208.00 applies to students who participate on a high school c-squad, b-squad, JV or varsity team.
