Pride Through Accomplishment
The Career Center is a hands-on approach to learning basic academic skills in an applied fashion. All learning is career or job-based and provides students the opportunity to gain general work skills and job ethics that will transfer into any vocational area. The mission of the Career Center is to guide all students to reach their individual potential by developing knowledge, entry-level employability skills, and positive attitudes in a safe, nurturing environment.
“Allow the Eyes to see what the Hands are doing and the Mind is thinking.”
The Career Center is dedicated to the 4 P’s- Prepared, Polite, Productive and Professional. These soft skills are the pillars to success in all that we do.
Say Hi to our New Principal Cam Wyatt
Welcome BACK!
My name is Cam Wyatt and I am extremely proud to be part of the Career Center family. I have spent the past 20 years in Alaska wandering the woods and teaching Career Technical Education (CTE). I have a wonderful family that includes a wonderful wife, son, daughter, dog and cat.
I’m excited to be the new principal at the Career Center, a place where the focus is on the student. You will hear me say… “Allow the eyes to see what the hands are doing and the mind is thinking”, as this is the best way to really learn.
I welcome you to visit the Career Center as it is truly a special place and if you have any questions please know that our door is open, so stop on by and say “Hi”.
