The number PI

PI is a very long number which is a name for the fixed ratio of circumference to diameter which will ALWAYS BE the number 3. There are lots of numbers in PI (I only know 6!). There are lots of ways to experiment on PI. One that is really popular is the Buffon's Needle.

Using the picture here, What is the first 6 numbers of PI - 390 (without the decimal)?

Answer: 314159-390=313769


Symmetry means that if you split something in half, it will be the EXACT same on both sides. Examples are below.



Geometry is basically just a cool word for shapes. A square is geometry. So are rectangles, rhombuses, trapezoids, and every other shape you can think of.

The fibonacci sequence is a series of numbers that, if you add the last 2 numbers together, it will equal the next. So it goes: 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 21, ect.
