Career Center Newsletter - week of April 04
Students and Families,
February 28 through April 1 - Seniors had the opportunity to apply for the local scholarships provided by our generous donors. Now it is time for scholarship committees for each scholarship come together to review and select recipients. Recipients will be notified of their award prior to graduation at Senior Awards. Details about senior awards will come from our Principal at a later date.
- Seniors - continue working on Financial Aid packets and scholarships for any additional training or education planned after graduation.
- If you are heading off to college, keep up with communication from the college regarding fees, payments, housing selection and more. They all have deadlines you do not want to miss.
- Juniors - check the colleges or institutions you might be planning to attend to see their entrance requirements like: ACT, SAT, or entrance exams. Visit colleges over the summer to check out their campus.
- Sophomores and Freshmen - continue to research careers you might be interested in to check out what training or education it needs
For more tips: check all the resources below including check lists for each grade.
