As we continue through the school year and focus on kindness, I thought I would share this article I came across on Parent.com. It talks about why teaching kindness must also happen at home and simple ways that kindness can be taught.
MAP Parent Presentation
During our presentation, we talked about Lexile Scores. This score can be used to help parents and teachers (and students) find the 'just right' book in terms of reading level. You can read more in this article from Scholastic.com called Lexile Levels: What Parents Need to Know. If you scroll to the bottom of the page, you can shop for books by the lexile score.
