Halloween at JHCS
We love to celebrate Halloween at JHCS. There are a few details you need to know so we can all have a fun day.
- Students are allowed to wear modest costumes to school that day.
- No masks - face painting is allowed
- No weapons - pretend or real
Costume Parade
The Annual Costume Parade will be held at 11:45 am on the 31st. Parents are welcome to come watch all of our goblins, witches and super heroes walk by showing off their costumes.
No School - Fall Break
Enjoy Fall Break from October 17 - 21st. We will see you all back to school on Tuesday, Oct. 22nd.
No School - Nov. 1st
There will be NO SCHOOL on Friday, Nov.1st. It is a teacher training day. Enjoy a long weekend.
Classic Fun Center Night
Join us for FREE admission to Classic Fun Center on Friday, Oct. 25th. Bring your entire family!
They do charge for rentals, food, games, bounce house etc. However, admission is free to all JHCS family members. Let them know at the door that you are with John Hancock Charter School.
12:30 Release on Halloween
School is released at 12:30 on Oct. 31st.
End of Term
The last day of Term 1 is Friday, Oct. 25th. Progress reports are emailed directly to parents from Mastery Connect the week of Nov. 4-8th. Please watch for it in your inbox.
Boo Grams
Student Council will be selling Boo Grams on Oct. 28, 29 and 30th. Your child may purchase a Boo Gram to send to their friends and you may purchase a Boo Gram to send to your child.
