Message from the Principal
Hello WGMS families!
We had a very busy week as we returned from winter break with an eye on spring right around the corner! Our Science Fair and an impending name change are just a few of the highlights. Stay warm this weekend!
Best wishes,
Michael McGrath
St. Baldrick's Brave the Shave
Our St. Baldrick's event at West Genesee Middle School took off in 2014 as a result of our students looking for a way to support and stand with fellow students and members of our community who have been impacted by childhood cancer. We have hit the ground running and have currently raised $8,842 on the way to our goal of $12,000. It is not too late to support our “Brave the Shave” event in any way that you can and help us make a difference in the lives of children across the country. It's all about "The Power of WE!" HERE is the link to volunteer, donate, and/or brave the shave.
If your child is braving the shave, and you'd like to view this in person, you are welcome to sign in at the main office and join us in the cafeteria during their lunch period. Please be sure to bring a photo ID to sign in!
