Lockdown/Safety Meeting Reminder

Sending another friendly reminder for our Lockdown/Safety Training TODAY in the Rider Room during periods 6,7, and 8, please plan to attend during one of the class periods. The meeting will last approximately 30-40 minutes.This training is for all teachers, librarians, counselors, paras, cooks, custodians, and office personnel.

Flu Shots

Students will be receiving their flu shot forms today and tomorrow in their English classes. If you as a staff member are in need of a form, please stop by Hannah's desk and pick one up. Forms are due back to the office on Wednesday, October 16th. With the short week, we will accept forms through Monday. The flu shot clinic will take place in the Commons on Tuesday, October 22nd.

College App Day Reminder--

Tomorrow is College App Day! All staff can participate by filling out the "I Graduated" signs, helping students complete their Bingo card, AND wearing apparel from your alma mater!

A Look Ahead

End of Quarter 1

Teachers- The end of the first quarter is Friday, October 25th. Please be sure grades are up to date so students have an accurate picture of their academic progress. Make sure your grades are entered by 4:30pm on Wednesday the 30th for report cards.

WAR for Literacy

What is the WAR Conference? WAR is a conference to encourage students’ interest in reading and writing. The hope is the conference provides an opportunity to build skills and the love of reading and writing both inside and outside of school!


When? Wednesday, October 30th. Full schedule to come.


Who? All Freshmen

Northern Valley Career Expo

What is the Northern Valley Career Expo? Provides an opportunity to explore career opportunities with 60+ employers and speakers from 22 different career fields.


When? Wednesday, October 30th at the Alerus Center. Students will leave around 8:45am and return to RR at approximately 11:45am.
