2nd Grade CogAT Testing

On February 18th, 19th, and 20th, 2nd graders will be taking the CogAT test. All schools in DCSD are now giving this assessment to 2nd graders in February. The results of the CogAT, along with a body of evidence, will be used to determine if students qualify for Gifted & Talented services including Advanced Learning Plans (ALPs). Parents of students in any grade level can still request that their child be given the CogAT test in the fall, but the February assessment is only for 2nd grade. If you have any questions about the CogAT assessment, please contact
