! JUMP ROPE EXTRAVAGANZA !

The Final Show

On Thursday morning, the Drake Jump Rope Club put on its final JUMP ROPE EXTRAVAGANZA. With help from older students in "The Heartbeats", Drake students demonstrated their fancy moves and creative choreography in a show that was thoroughly entertaining! The Drake Jump Rope Club is one of things that made Drake Elementary School such a special place. For years, Mr. Chris Hawke has volunteered his time to sponsor and supervise this after school activity. The entire Drake community sends out a huge THANK YOU to Mr. Hawke and all the other adults who have helped this group thrive. Best of luck to the entire Hawke family as they all move on to their new schools.

New Regulations Result in Changes When Writing Checks At School

Due to changes in federal banking regulations all check payments must be made payable to Strongsville City Schools which reflects the name on the District bank account. The bank will no longer be able to accept checks made out to individual school buildings, i.e. Muraski Elementary School, or Strongsville High School, etc.

This includes ALL checks received whether it is for food service, field trips, prom, pay-to-play, trainer fee, transcripts, school fees/fines, fund-raisers, etc. We encourage families to use the PayForIt (PFI) system when applicable. Click HERE for more information on Strongsville's PFI system.
