Fight Like A Kid!
Childhood Cancer Awareness Night
#gogold bulldogs & Broncos!
Aquin Interact and Aquin Volleyball ask you to join them as they promote awareness of childhood cancer on Tuesday, October 10 at Aquin High School.
The Aquin Bulldogs will be hosting the Orangeville Broncos with games at 6 and 7.
Members became aware of #gogold when they learned of Megan Bugg's journey, a teen from Coal City, Illinois who is battling childhood cancer.
"Fighting cancer is a 24/7 x 7 days/wk all-consuming job. During the battle, it’s hard to ever get away from the grind, because it seems that cancer is constantly attacking both your mental and physical well-being. There is no daily quitting time for cancer; there is not a weekend for cancer; and there is no such thing as a vacation from cancer. Cancer is always there, which is why fighting it is so utterly exhausting for its victims…and their families."
