Seniors and Juniors can pickup/buy t-shirts on Monday in the library. Freshmen and Sophomores who ordered shirts can pick them up on Tuesday in the library.
LHS sweatshirts are coming. If you would like to preorder a sweatshirt, see Mrs. Fields in the library. Sizes S-XL are $20. 2X-4X are $25.
Current juniors who ended the school year last year with an overall 3.5 GPA, please see Mrs. Fields in the library if you are interested in the National Honor Society. Current National Honor Society members should be in the NHS Schoology Group. We will have officer elections after Fall Break.
Look for information in your class Schoology group about the upcoming PTA Reflections Competition. Students who have talent in dance, film production, literature, music composition, photography and visual arts are encouraged to participate. The 2021-2022 theme is “I will change the world by…”
Shoutout Freshmen Student of the Week
LaDarren McClendon comes to us from Chapman Middle School. He is an Offensive Tackle on the Lee High School Football Team. In his free time, he enjoys resting, listening to music, chilling with friends and family, and cooking. After graduation, he wants to go to college and then play in the NFL. After retiring from the NFL, he wants to open a restaurant.
Callie Pitsinos comes to us from Morris Middle School. She is a member of the Creative Writing Magnet program. In her free time, she enjoys drawing and playing phone games. After graduation, she wants to pursue an arts career.

The College Counselors post relevant information in the grade level Schoology groups including scholarships, college info, financial aid, upcoming events and more as appropriate for each grade level. Make sure students are checking the “Updates” for these groups regularly.
11th & 12th Grade – Local Scholarship List – Check out the attached list of local scholarships! We update this list as we receive opportunities from local organizations throughout the year.

- “Understanding FAFSA and Financial Aid” – Our monthly Parent Outreach meeting for September is “Understanding the FAFSA and Financial Aid”. Meetings will be VIRTUAL on Tuesday, September 21, at 12 noon and 6 pm – Zoom login details will be sent via email on Monday. Flyer attached with additional details.
- College Q&A – VIRTUAL Q&A meeting will be Friday, Sept 24 @ 12 noon. Zoom login details will be sent via email on Thursday. This is a chance to ask us anything college related!
12th Grade – Alabama College Application Campaign Week – October 18-22 – Mark your calendars! The state of Alabama will host College Application Campaign Week October 18-22. During this week many colleges will offer free applications. We will receive a list of participating colleges in mid-October.
