ALICE Parent Information Night
October 16 & October 23 at 7 pm
Parents, please join us for an ALICE Information Night held at Northwood Jr. High at Elm Place (2031 Sheridan Rd) on October 16th (for K-5th grades) at 7 p.m. and October 23rd (for 6th-8th grades) at 7 p.m. Spanish translation will be available for both nights.
At the ALICE parent night, District staff will share details about student ALICE training and answer any questions that parents have. Students at Green Bay’s early childhood center will continue to participate in drills in the same manner as previous years, with a focus on students looking to the teacher for direction in case of emergency.
ALICE stands for (Alert, Lockdown, Inform, Counter, Evacuate) and provides preparation and situational awareness training on how to mitigate the threat of a dangerous situation. You can read more about our efforts to become an ALICE trained school district at https://bit.ly/2m384EL
