My favorite quote from the book
"keep it secret, keep it safe!" i chose this quote because i once played the LEGO Lord Of The Rings game, and the scene that had this quote was really funny.
Quote that shows more about the conflict
Page 67: "there is only one way: to find the cracks of doom in the depths of ordurin the fire- mountain and cast the ring in there, if you really wish to destroy it, to put it beyond the grasp of the enemy forever." This shows more about the conflict because the ring, is the basic thing of power that everyone wants, because it can make you invisible, and it basically is the root of all evil, because it can possess you, to make you never give it away.
This is a story of Adventure and fantasy.
After Bilbo Baggins leaves on another adventure, Frodo Baggins, is left with his uncle Bilbo's ring and most of his will. Frodo is also left with Bilbo's hobbit hole, and the furniture have names on them, labeled for whoever gets it.
Conflict (man vs. self)
Frodo doesn't know what to do with the ring that can make him disappear that Bilbo gave him. Gandalf knows the ring has great power and advises him to use it wisely to keep it secret. It is hard to decide what do with the ring because the power is so great and the ring can be possessive. the ring causes alot of chaos because it is "The One Ring To Rule Them All." This ring was made by an evil person named Sauron. He is very evil and was killed before this story. A tower called sauron's eye, is always searching for the ring in this story. Frodo had to keep out of the glance of this eye. It's hard to understand unless you read the story.
"Courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, "i will try again tomorrow."
