Girl Powered Super Saturday:

AMS Robotics sponsored the first ever "Girl Powered Super Saturday" on October 12. Over 30 AMS young ladies participated in S.T.E.A.M. activities throughout the day. Students worked on computer coding, created Sphero mazes, created "Slimy" Science projects, and used their imaginations in art. It was a great time and we are already looking forward to next time!

Kindness is getting even more Sweet:

Alma Intermediate School students have continued to participate in the Kindness is Sweet Challenge in an effort to promote making good choices for themselves and for their classmates. In the past two weeks, classes have been assigned Top Secret Missions to complete. Each class worked together to spread kindness in a variety of ways, including picking up trash, giving high-fives, giving compliments, makings cards or murals and doing a performance for classmates just to name a few! The numbers are still rolling in from Week 3, but since October 1, we have done over 5,000 kind things for one another!!!!! We are definitely learning that life is much sweeter when we are kind to one another!
