Principal's Note: RED Week

Our first RED Week was a HUGE success! Thank you very much to Ally Rappaport for paving the way as the lead RED Week McKenzie staff member! A big thank you to Jody Boquist, Erika Hvalacek and the PTA for all of your support! Mrs. Boquist, Mrs. Hvalacek, and Ms. Rappaport spent endless hours preparing activities for our students and staff, organizing our school-wide assembly, purchasing RED Week bands for all students and staff to unite us as one and prepping our front lobby bulletin board titled, Take What You Need, Give What You Can. There is no doubt in my mind that our students and staff have an enhanced appreciate for each others' uniqueness. We will continue to live by the motto, Respect Every Difference!

Be on the look out for a video featuring our students' take on RED Week. Dr. Lechner will be highlighting McKenzie's students in his Friday Minute coming soon!

Please check out some of our photos below:

Early Bird Parent Parking

If you drop off your child for our Early Bird care program, please turn on your emergency flashers. We are asking you to do this so that McKenzie staff members know if a car will be leaving a parking spot, which will then lead to an available staff parking spot. As you know, we are challenged with limited staff parking and this would greatly help us! Thank you!

Good Luck to our DI Particpants!
