Special Guest Presenter in Mrs. Leslie's Class

Alex Leslie, son of Mrs. Leslie, spent time with the fourth graders last Friday. He shared a presentation and fielded questions from the students, which addressed science facts related severe weather and tornadoes. Alex was part of a storm chasing team at COD, and is now majoring in meteorology, with a minor in emergency management, at Western University. What a great learning opportunity for our student to see live video, learn more about the tremendous impact tornadoes have on communities, and how to be safe in conditions that lead up to a weather event that may produce a tornado.

The Survey is now open to parents!

Please take a little time to complete this survey, so that our staff and District can have your valuable input and insight. We need 20% participation of our families, in order to have this information shared with us, and we currently have 2% completed. Each adult in your family may complete this survey for our school.

To provide your valuable input, visit this link and click on the "Parents" button to complete your survey https://survey.5-essentials.org/Illinois/

Many thanks for your time in taking this survey!
