Making A Difference
Carmel Creek January 4, 2016
Welcome back Carmel Creek!
I hope everyone enjoyed a restful time with family. I know our Carmel Creek kids were already missing you all before the break. When I asked kids, if they were excited for vacation, they stated, " a little sad because we will miss coming to school." Thanks for doing the wonderful instructional work you do with the kids daily and for the extra care taken to get to know each student as an individual. As we enter a new season I hope you find joy in the art of teaching and discovery in the science of teaching. Treasure each moment with your class. Your students think so highly of you and the parents sincerely appreciate you. You are what makes early educational experiences, for our kids, exceptional. Have a great first week back.
Winter Poetry-Just to take pause on the season as we return.
Cloud Dust by Writer Fox
Clouds shake white dust down-
All the trees turned to snowmen,
The eyes made of ice.
All the trees turned to snowmen,
The eyes made of ice.
Roses in Winter by Writer Fox
Winter roses wait,
under white shroud of snowfall,
for resurrection.
under white shroud of snowfall,
for resurrection.
Winter Solitude by Matsuo Basho
Winter solitude-
in a world of one color
The sound of wind.
in a world of one color
The sound of wind.
