Town facilities will reopen tomorrow, Feb. 25 as soon as staff members can safely get to work. An update will be sent out when this is determined.

Important information

If you experience a busted pipe and you are unable to locate your water shut off, do NOT call 9-1-1. Instead, call the Public Works on-call number or the non-emergency number. Someone will be available to assist you as fast as they are able to get to you.

Please call 9-1-1 for true emergencies only during this time. It is imperative that the system does not become overloaded with non-emergent calls, so that our first responders are available to respond to actual emergencies.

Republic Services has suspended operations in Sunnyvale for Thursday, Feb. 24 due to the inclement weather.


All Thursday (Feb. 24) routes will be pushed to Friday (Feb. 25) and all Friday routes will be pushed to Saturday (Feb. 26).


Should this change, an update will be provided.
