Sudan is facing ecological crises, like shortage of water and desertification. The demand for water is increasing, but avalability is low.

Statistics

1: 80% of the country works in agriculture which accounts for 97% of the water.

2: The Darfur region had 3,753 reported causes of hepatitis E, in 2004

3: Sudanese are at high risks for contracting waterborne diseases

Solution


The Water Project has twenty missions to build wells in Sudan. These wells are either development or have already been built. More plans will offers accessible water for thousands of Sudanese.
