Last Day of School Dismissal Time Correction

The last District Digest and also the Board Report from Monday, April 8, listed an incorrect dismissal time for the last day of school. The last day of school is June 6 with an 11:30 a.m. dismissal. The last day of school is also a SIP Day. We apologize for any confusion.

SIP Day and Non-Attendance Day

Tomorrow, Thursday, April 18, is a SIP Day. Students in grades 1-8 will have early dismissal at 11:30 a.m. to allow time for District staff to work on school improvement activities. Please note that half-day students (Early Childhood Special Education, Pre-K, and Kindergarten) do not attend school on SIP days. For the full list of 2018-19 SIP days, Click Here.

In addition, Friday, April 19 is a Non-Attendance Day in District 41. Schools will be closed.

Music Classrooms Open in the New Hadley Addition

The music classrooms are the first to be used in the new Hadley addition. The music classes needed to move into the addition for the construction to begin on the PODs auditorium area in the already existing part of the school. The District will host an open house at Hadley at the beginning of the next school year when all of the spaces are complete. Thank you to the community for supporting these facility improvements!

Abraham Lincoln School International Night Celebration

The Lincoln School community celebrated diversity of cultures last week at the annual International Night event hosted by the Lincoln PTA. Everyone had fun and learned about the many cultures represented at Lincoln School. Thank you to all who made this event possible!
