Happy March Marshall Families!
Thank you to all of our John Marshall families who attended our parent teacher conferences this past week. Communicating with families is an important part of our partnership and we appreciate your time to join in the conversation! If you missed your time, I’d like to encourage you to reach out to your child’s teacher to reschedule or have a phone conference.
We have a couple of great opportunities coming up for you to be involved at school! Please save the date for the John Marshall Centennial Celebration on Saturday, April 15 from 11:00am - 1:30pm. Our students have been researching the past 10 decades and what John Marshall and our community was like over the years! We’ll have tours of our school and ways to help us celebrate both our past and our future! Please follow the Facebook group “John Marshall Centennial” (the link is below) to stay up to date on the latest for the event! We’ll be looking for both adult and student volunteers and helpers for this event soon!
Also, our PTO is starting to plan for their fun, spring event, the Spring Cookout and Dance! This will happen on Friday, May 12th. We’ll have the Book Fair, raffle baskets, a DJ dance on the playground, and a cookout. We’re looking for parents to help us plan parts of the event - if you’d be willing to collect donations for baskets, put together baskets, or help plan for the food, either let us know or come to the PTO meeting on Monday, March 6 at 6:00pm in our library!
We hope that you will join us with your family for these fun events!
Ms. Amanda Patterson
