Local Author Gives Workshop to Writing Club
Sarah Schmitt--local teen librarian at the Sugar Creek Branch of HCPL--will have her first book published Fall 2014. The book, in editing phase now, is a Young Adult book; her hints of the upcoming book had us all on the edge of our seats!
Sarah presented a writing workshop on character development to the New Pal Writing Club at the January 16th meeting. If you would like her to work with your students, I will help you contact her or you can contact her at the local HCPL. Also, she can help your students get registered at HCPL--so they have use of resources like Zinio (online magazines) and Overdrive (ebooks, audios).
