what was the change?
A major change in European. It started in the mid-1500, in which the study of the natural world began to be characterized by careful observation and the questioning of accepted beliefs.
Who were the people associated with the change?
Galileo Galilei
He was supposed to use the base on the Greek astronomer Ptolemy's theory that the sun and all the other planets revolve around earth. These course deepened Galileo understanding of astronomical theory. He was convinced of the polish astronomer Nicolaus Copernicus , that all planet revolve around the sun.
Nicolaus Copernicus
He develop the theory that earth and the other plants revolve around the sun. Copernicus's ideas was providing a mathematical system proving that the sun centered system.(heliocentric model)
Johannes Kepler
He discover that the orbits of the planets around the sun are ellipses rather than circles, and discover a fair way to the nature of gravity.
How did the change impact society at the time?
Galileo Galilei :
He had showed a connection between earth and the celestial bodies. He also revolutionized astronomy, along with the mapping system for stars, plants, and the solar system
Nicolaus Copernicus:
He changed the way of thinking not only from astronomically but also religiously. He use theory base on catholic teaching.
Johannes kelper:
He contribution was the three law of planetary motion law.
How is that change evidenced in today's modern society
Galileo Galilei:
He impacted was his telescope and the law of motion. It change the way people view the universe.
Nicolaus Copernicus:
His heliocentric theory changed the way we look at the universe and inspired other scientists which lead to earth was not the center of the universe.
Johannes kelper:
His discovery that planets go around the sun and gravity help scientist.
