Elmonica ES Boundary Advisory Committee
Parents and community members of Elmonica, Beaver Acres and McKinley elementary schools are encouraged to apply to serve on the Beaverton School District’s Elementary School Boundary Adjustment Advisory Committee.
The Elementary School Boundary Adjustment Advisory Committee will use School Board Policy JC to study and recommend attendance boundary changes to relieve the overcrowding at Elmonica Elementary School.
The committee work will begin in January 2019 and will conclude early March 2019. The committee will meet approximately three times. Membership on the Elementary Boundary Adjustment Advisory Committee will include:
- At least one parent/community members* each from the Elmonica, Beaver Acres and McKinley school communities
- The principals for Elmonica, Beaver Acres and McKinley elementary schools will be ex-officio members of the committee
*Cannot be an employee of the Beaverton School District.
Those who wish to apply should submit a letter or email of interest by 4:00 p.m. on Friday, January 4, 2019. Letters should include the following information:
- Name & contact information (mailing address, e-mail address, phone number)
- Resumé
- Response to the following questions: Why do you want to serve on the Elementary School Boundary Adjustment Advisory Committee? What skills and experience do you have that would benefit the Advisory Committee? (Please limit your response to no more than one page).

Beaverton School-Based Health Center open during Winter Break
The Beaverton School-Based Health Center, located on the campus of Beaverton High School, 13000 SW 2nd Street, will remain open during Winter Break with the regular business hours; Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
The only exceptions will be the Health Center will be CLOSED on Tuesday, December 25 and Tuesday, January 1, 2019.
Are your immunizations up-to-date? The Beaverton SBHC has a licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant on staff. The medical provider can conduct routine exams, diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses, as well as prescribe any needed medication and perform immunizations. Additional services include mental health and dental.
Patients and their families are encouraged to call ahead for appointment times and any questions they may have about services.
