Happenings on the Hill

MHBS 5-12 Communications/May 20, 2016

Another Year in the Books! Have a Great Summer!

As we glance through the 37 previous issues of this year's "Happenings on the Hill," we realize what a year it's been. From boasting the Alabama Boys State governor to welcoming home a Golf State Champion, we have met academic and athletic success this year. We've also experienced some difficult and heart-wrenching moments, particularly the unexpected death of our friend and student, Sam Terry. We have learned, cried, laughed, cheered, and grown together--which is what ultimately makes Mars Hill a family. Thank you for being a special part of this Mars Hill family, and congratulations and welcome to our 51 newest Panther alumni! Have a great summer, everyone.

Thank You from the Hendersons

To Our Mars Hill Family,

We want to say thank you to everyone for your support this year. At its best, it was an extremely difficult year for our family, but all the thoughtfulness that was shown to us helped make the year easier. The kind words, encouragement, prayers, patience, understanding, hugs, and smiles will never be forgotten. Macie was especially grateful for the tree and gift basket sent by her sixth grade class. We feel truly blessed to be at Mars Hill and to call all of you our family. May God bless all of you.
