Dealing with Digital Drama
Is There an App for That?
Getting a Handle on Apps & Social Media
Whether we realize it or not, many of our kids now have the same access to technology that adults do - even in middle school. That's a lot of responsibility for a young person to handle - and for parents to monitor. Let's get started with a discussion on cyberbullying and work our way up through some other digital dilemmas that can occur. You'll walk away with resources to help you keep up with new technology, deal with digital drama including sexting and online offenders, and put a plan in motion in case of emergency. At the high school level we also need to manage social media now so it doesn't impact our student's future. Suitable for parent of middle and high schoolers, but not for kids.
We'll review the apps you do know...
