AKS at Home
As part of Gwinnett County Public Schools’ family engagement initiative, the school district seeks to empower parents with tools that allow them to help their children at home. Our AKS at Home project provides Math and Literacy support, for grades K-5, to families so that they truly are partners in their children’s learning. Scheduled Zoom Meetings are available for you to attend so you may quickly learn how you can help your child in Math and Literacy. All meetings are recorded and tools are posted in case you can't make the live session. This support is available for families to access in the format that fits them and their schedule best.
We invite our families to take advantage of AKS at Home to gain access to scheduled virtual meetings or recorded sessions to best fit your schedule, and to the parent tip sheets (in English y en Español).

American Education Week
American Education Week—Nov. 16-20, 2020—presents us with a wonderful opportunity to celebrate public education and honor individuals who are making a difference in ensuring that every child receives a quality education. Please take this time to thank and salute our GCPS team—those at the local schools and at the district level—who have shined this past year as they have served the children of Gwinnett County.
Below you will find the link to Mr. Wilbanks' American Education Week message. We encourage you to thank our teachers, support staff, students, families, and communities for the way they have come together this past year to support our students and public education.
