October 2, 2020

Hello All,

We’ve made it through 13 days of classes and from the look and sound of the teachers, classes are going well. Some comments I’ve heard :

“Students are showing up and rocking the classes.”

“I’m so excited about all the new tools I’ve been using.”

“Students are all helping each other and willing to learn things together.”

“This is really hard but it is going to change education for the better.”

We’re so proud of our students and their commitment to their learning during this time. Our teachers are working extremely hard, and our students are working just as hard. We hope all of our students and parents/guardians take a moment to complete the survey below, as we look to make improvements to our remote learning environment.

Have a great weekend,

Steve Cullinane

Open House Rescheduled

Due to a conflict, our Open House has been rescheduled for Tuesday, October 13th. This virtual open house will be held from 6:00–7:30pm. Invitations to teachers' Zoom links will be shared through PowerSchool. Thank you for your flexibility.

Upcoming On-Campus Events

We have several community on-campus events coming up! Dates/Times TBD.

Senior Sunrise

  • The Student Council is organizing an event for seniors to come together, watch the sunrise, and celebrate the beginning of senior year. StuCo will be communicating details soon.

College Seminars

  • The Guidance Department will be facilitating a meeting on using Naviance for college applications.

Meet, Greet, and Connect!

  • Groups from each class will be able to sign up for specific times for an on-campus visit for an opportunity to connect with one another and school staff.

Community Survey

We want your feedback! We are committed to continued reevaluation and adjustment of our remote learning program. Your responses to our initial community survey from September 10th have already informed our work, and we're following up with this one. Students and parents/guardians will be prompted to answer questions specific to their experiences. Thank you!

Students and Parents/Guardians please click here for the survey!

Virtual Library

Please take a look at the Virtual Library site that Ms. Landry put together. It is chock full of great resources, links, and books that students can borrow.

Materials Pick-up on Wednesday

Due to the evolving development of discipline's curricula, secondary pick-up of materials will take place on a monthly basis. The first Wednesday of each month will be designated for alternate pick-up of materials based on teacher need. Teachers will be communicating with students who need to pick up materials.

From the Health Office

Hi again Nashoba families and students!

It looks like we'll be able to get outside and enjoy some more beautiful autumn weather this weekend!

Thank you to all for your continued efforts as we work together on keeping our numbers down in our community!

Please continue to wear your masks, watch your physical distance, and wash your hands! Also please keep in mind if you are travelling in a car with members outside your immediate family, wearing masks and keeping the windows down will help prevent transmission in these close quarters.

Wishing you all a wonderful and hopefully relaxing weekend! As always, please reach out if you have any questions or concerns!

Thank you,

Please reach out at any time with any questions or concerns.
