Most squirrel monkeys grow up to 1 foot {30 centimeters} not inclueding the tail .The monkey is often a ash gray or red brown and black with shades of gold or olive colors.
Diet
They eat fruits and berries in the late afternoon they eat spiders and insects witch are picked out of ground vegetation they also hunt in large troops.
Habitat
They live in tropical rain forests in the South America and the Andes of Columbia and northern Peru over to the northeastern part of Brazil they also live in all three levels of the rain forest .
Physical Description
Squirrel monkeys have a bigger brains than humans they also have larger eyes that are closer together giving them binocular vision there hind limbs are for gripping and the fore limbs are for foraging
