Amazing Chorus and Theater Performances at WJK!

On May 12 of last week, our chorus and theater students put on a live performance of songs and drama for the first time in 2 years. It was a great time and our students did an awesome job.

Under the direction of Mrs. Gilmore-Brown, our chorus performed tunes such as Rolling in the Deep, Rain on Me, and Just For Me.

Our theater department, lead by Mrs. Beverly Singleton, performed a play involving a court case with lawyers, witnesses, and a jury, which included audience members.

We can't wait to see the next live performance to showcase our Keenan Talent!

Parents and Teachers Working Together

When parents and teachers work as partners, children do better in school and at home. When working together as partners, it's been found that parents and teachers communicate more effectively, develop stronger relationships with one another and develop skills to support children's behaviors and learning.

Communicate to our parents and let them know how their student is doing!
